Cape Cod Commercial Linen Service, Inc. (CCCLS) has announced that it has former F.W. Webb property at 880 Attucks Lane under-agreement, with plans to create a state-of-the-art commercial laundry facility, opening by April 15, 2012. The Hyannis-based commercial laundry company which has been servicing Cape Cod hotels, resorts, restaurants and other commercial businesses for over 25 years will be closing its two current facilities in Hyannis and merging them into the nearly 30,000 square foot building.
CCCLS has purchased an 8-mod, 4-dryer Milnor CBW Tunnel with Pulse Flow Technology. The Tunnel offers the latest in commercial laundering technology and uses nearly 50% less water, natural gas, and chemical. The Tunnel improves efficiencies and preserves the high quality of linen to ensure longer life-spans. CCCLS expects to have the Tunnel installed by the end of March.

CCCLS to become a certified green commercial laundry facility
A key addition to this new facility will be the energy-efficient Milnor’s CBW Tunnel System, which reduces energy and water consumption by nearly 50%, making CCCLS a certified “green” laundry under the Laundry Environmental Stewardship Program, which prides itself by reducing the consumption of energy and by-waste production. The Tunnel System will also be joined with a 90% efficient Chicago Powerhouse ironing machine.
